More Dolls

This dolls represent the Cumbiambera couple.
The traditional cumbiambera dress for women consists in a really long and wide skirt (of around 8 meters) and a tight blouse. It can be either with sleeves or without them. The style of the skirt can vary but overall the dress must have many ruffles around the lower skirt area, hem and bodice. It can be made with a red and white checkered or plain cotton fabric.
Men wear White for the Cumbia dance. He wears a palm hat, a red handkerchief and a colorful backpack as accessories.
